Move tool issue

I'm modeling, and I have absolutely no idea how I did this. When ever I select a vertex to move, Maya will select all on one side for example, if I select a vertex on a cube on the left side, Maya will select all the vertexs on the side, when I only need one. Any one know how to fix this?

Make sure you dont have symetry checked in the move tool settings ... set to off

Oh, I thought that would be the case, you enabled soft selection, it's very useful but not now...hit the "B " key to disable...it's also in the tool settings "Soft selection"
