Mirror UV problem

Hey there!
This piece that is cut in half and needs to have stacked UVs. Separately the shells they look fine but some polygons get this reddish hue to them when stacked. No problem in the Maya viewport but Substance Painter shows those uvs as flipped (different lighting).

Checked everything with Cleanup. Anybody knows where this is coming from?

noticed something similar in maya too where overlapping/stacked shells behave that wired way. in any case for baking etc. in painter (and anywhere else) the mirrored part should be offset -1 unit in U. will not only prevent this problem but also other baking issues which can appear when you stack shells.
