Maya/ uninstall/reinstall, did not download substance for unknown reasons

Hello,

Ive just downloaded maya, it notified me that substance was not able to also be installed.  Will this affect texture making? I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall maya because my textures were not sticking as they ought to.  I’m afraid to remake my model for the 3rd time only to have it not work again.  I’m very behind on my assignment.

This rather seems that you have several uvSets. Check Modeling > UV > uvSetEditor. Reconsider if you need them all, keep the relevant one.
