Hello, i am an animation student and I work off of Maya I have a dell laptop provided through the school that is compatible with this device. But ever since last year I've been having some reoccurring problems. I will try to open certain files even though I've already accessed them before just won't open simply and it will make my whole Maya shut down and force close. We work off of Maya 2018 and I keep my Maya updated I submitted a ticket but it was in the wrong location. This happens when I go to animate and rig characters too maa will buffer then get a loading mouse for the cursor and I can't do anything with the program. I've also run into problems with the graph editor and not being able to access rotate and translate the different axes it'll just outright disappear and my teacher mentioned the bar was hidden but I still wasn't able to access or manipulate any of the keypoint I had set. We were following alongside her in the class. Unzipped files that I did won't open without some major component missing for the animation Like the move bar for it as a whole or not being able to manipulate a whole side or arm of the project. I really just want to know what I need to do.
