MAYA 2018-Unable to display geometry

I am having the worst time trying to figure out why Maya can't display the geometry.

If I open this file on my friend's computer ,the geometry can show and everything is ok, 

This problem just happening on my MAYA 2018

I didn't hid anything.I had re-install my MAYA 2018 but it still didn't work.

This is what I see when I open the file.

I am sorry if this is baseline, I am a beginner . but I am at a wall with this issue as its really slowing down all my study....

Did you install the latest update for Maya?

Here it works with Maya 2018.4.

Please also try Import instead of Open Scene.
