Issue with Shelves

I'm a beginer and I would really appreciate the help. I am having an issue with my shelves in Maya. It was first full screen and now it's like this.

I'm using Maya 2017

Try a reset of your Maya Preferences in your user documents folder.
- Rename the folder prefs in folder 2017 to something like prefs_backup, or the folder 2017 to 2017_backup
(Don't copy preferences from previous Maya versions.)
