Is it ok to have a vertex connect to more than 4 edges?

Wanted to know if having a vertex connect to 5 edges would cause any problems with my model

It's not totally bad but it should be avoided for proper edge flow because it can cause deformation problem. But in the face area you can see them on the cheek, at the top of the nostril , at the top of the outer brow, because these areas quite stiff rather than the other areas of face.
