I can't move object or anything freely

Since I don't know the exactly why my problem is

I will tell what I did and what going on

I move a Local pivot by pressing D and I assume I hold it The result is Snap to grids have been on which I didn't know

after I finish change a Local pivot and do other stuff(like scale the edge of object, or move point vertex)

When I try to move vertex point it like move all the way to that direction and I can't move it back or move it anymore(I will post a picture of this one) or when I try to scale the edge it did the same

I also try to create polygon, but the first point I can click is only (0,A height I click I assume) After that I realize somehow local pivot is at (0,0)

I try to move it at my object and it only move follow the line(the line that measure position in a big square) and can't be move out of the line

The object also move from square to square only After that I just realize Snap to grids has been on the whole time

After that I try move Local pivot again, it still the same. It still move follow the line and object follow sqaure to sqaure

except.... I can create polygon where I want now

ps. I also try making new screen and it still move the same

Hi!

In the Tool Settings of the Move Tool hit "Reset Tool".

If you have problems with multiple tools and their settings try a reset of your preferences.
Rename the folder prefs in folder 2016 to something like prefs_backup, or to reset everything, the folder 2016 to 2016_backup. Maya creates new folders. Detailed at:
