How can I remove the edges of this model?

I have a model that I created by creating one corner of a table, duplicating it on the x-axis, combined it with the previous one, and then duplicated it again on the z-axis, and combined it again to make a single model. The problem is that I had 2 sets of edges where the polygons met so I used the Target Weld Tool to merge adjacent vertices but a gap can still be seen.

The edges I would like to remove are those on the table top and going along the bars on the underside of the table.

Select the edges and delete / edit mesh-delete edge.

It only worked for the edges on the long side of the table but not the short side, no matter how many times I try I get a "polyDelEdge40" or whatnot.

Maybe you left faces inside the object when u merged... that's a big no no in modeling, clean the mesh make sure all vertices are merged and delete edge or redo the mirror steps of your modeling

Thank you.

I ended up re-doing the model and noticed that some vertices were so close to each other so I saw them as only a single vertex. Merging them solved my issue.
