Games Design Student Assistive Technology

I manage a Games design course at a FE college in London. We have a prospective Student who uses EyeGaze assistive technology to communicate and control his computer. This software seems to be only point to point control so no click and drag. Can anyone suggest adaptions to support this learner and ensure he can fully access all the Maya Features and is not limited by his abilities?

Just for sake of kickstarting the discussion..

I have no experience with EyeGaze, and what I have seen of it is really basic, kind of one-finger typing.

You should take in account that Maya not only uses many key + all mouse button combos, but also it requires pixel-precise movements. I guess, there will not be *ALL* Maya features, rather some limited ops. Some freedom might come with knowledge of MEL. Perhaps some UI/HUD can be programmed to manipulate the viewport. Need some additional brainwave sensing, which is future for now. Best of luck, guys!
