Dear - Sir / Madam,

I am Venkatesh, i am using Maya 2011 Software in my Desktop PC, i am creating 1 Bus Modeling, from 2, 3 days it was working fine, today i opened the job file, suddenly its showing me this error - //Error: Error reading file

Please give give me a solution for this Problem, please help me...

Sorry to say the file is probably corrupted, and being that you saved in the .mb format, impossible to recover.

I always suggest saving in the .ma while you are working. ASCII format can often be fixed by hand in a text editor, but the binary format cannot be opened and fixed.

There is no guarantee that an ASCII file can be re-covered.

The best is to make incremental saves and open a backup-file.

You can however upload the file to see if someone can help you.
