Duplicating Faces

Is it possible to duplicate individual faces? Whenever I select a collection of faces and duplicate them, it still keeps duplicating the entire object. 😕

Edit Mesh -> Duplicate.

Works fine here.

Ahhhh, that'll be why then. I've been using Edit > Duplicate. Didn't realise you had to go to Edit Mesh instead. Thanks.
