Duplicate Special Issue

Hello!

I'm trying to create an object with duplicate special, but it's leaving gaps between the pieces of geometry. I'm not sure what is causing this - I've checked the duplicate special settings, transformations, pivot point, etc.

I know I can merge the vertices to close the gaps, but I was just curious if anyone knew what was causing this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi!

If the values for Duplicate Special are set correct, then the faces are simply too small.

Hello! Thank you for your response!

The piece of geometry that I posted was a modified piece of this original form:

Could the faces be too small even if they were connected in the original form?

Hi!

How was this object created?

By looking at the image I can't tell if these faces all have the exact same size.

Please provide a scene-file for further help.

Hi!

I don't know what you did, but my first assumption was correct,

the faces are smaller than on the original object from the Revolve.

I'm not sure how that happened, but that definitely explains the issue. Thank you so much for your help!
