drawing a CV curve around a sphere

Hi

I have a glove, and Iike to create wires wrapping around it. I figure the best way to do this is to create beziers/CV's around it and then extrude a circle around them?

My question is, what is the easiest way to create a CV that wraps around a sphere? Is there a way to make the CVs snap to the spheres surface?  Creating lots of CV points and moving each one so that its around the sphere would be a total nightmaire 😕

thanks for any help!

Nick

This works, but the curve itself will dip under your surface if you don't put in enough points.

If you need to to be really exact, you could project the curve on the geo, and then use that to extrude.
