Disable double click to select all vertices?

I feel like there’s definitely a simple way to do this but I’m not sure where it’d be in preferences or a selection menu but is there a way to turn off whatever makes it select every vert when I double left click?

I keep accidentally double clicking causing everything to select at once

There is no way to turn off double-click shell selection.

After watching the video it makes sense how it’s supposed to be used but I think I’ve been using it wrong until watching this lol!
