Cylindrical UV distortion on seam

I hope someone can help me out with this. We switched to 2017 this year and I'm having issues with using cylindrical uv mapping. In the images I'll attach you'll see the UV's get distorted at the seam when I'm in smooth preview(3 mode). If you create or open this same object in the 2016 version, I don't get that distortion in smooth preview.

Is there a new setting I missed in 2017 or am I doing something wrong now?

Try this  Kathy ..Smooth mesh>OpenSubdiv Controls>Uv Boundary Smoothing>Preserve edges (or Preserve Edges Corners)...instead of default Catmul.

Thanks Damaggio! Switching to the "Preserve Edges and Corners" fixed the issue like you said.
