Thanks, I selected the model and right clicked on it, but no visible points. I could edit the vertices, reposition them, but just could not see them, only the translate handles. Edges and faces were fine, visible.
I went to Display>Polygons>Vertex Size thinking perhaps they were too small and made them bigger, but no luck.
Working on deadline, I had to sort of move it along, imported the model/scene into another scene. In the new scene the vertices were visible, so it was just that document that was somehow messed up.
I work pretty fast (i.e. sloppy) so I'm always accidentally turning off my shelf or hitting buttons and have to Command Z, this one really confounded me. I'm moving on, but would like to know what happened incase I do it again.
I guess this is why people make a lot of "versions."
