My enter key does not seem to work. I am having trouble figuring out why certain commands like the snap together tool or connect tool are simply not functioning even tho I am following the exact instructions. It seems that no tool that requires me to hit enter works. After hitting enter nothing happens. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a way I have somehow unbound the enter key to execute a tool command? The physical enter key itself is not broken and works normally, it is just the act of executing a tool that does not work.
An example of the problem would be me selecting two edges, going to connect tool, setting up how to connect the edges like photo 1, pressing enter. This should connect the two edges, instead I get photo 2 where nothing is connected and the tool has been exited.
