bug in Maya 2025?

Is there a bug in Maya 2025 bevel? I keep getting this on just a simple bevel. I've merged points, edges, replaced faces, everything I can think of. It's driving me nuts.

Definitely seems to be a bug in  2025. I opened the file in 2024 and bevel is working fine there.

I'm not getting that result here, seems to work fine in 25 Windows 10.

Are you using copied preferences from 24?

yeah, I've about decided there's something wonky with that particular file and not a bug in Maya. However, I do have another problem...the substance painter plugin is missing. I downloaded the plugin from Adobe but I have no idea which files to move into Maya. It just installed everything into an Allegorithmic folder.

This is for sure a bug with old scene files. Works fine in a clean 2025 scene, but broken in a 2024 scene.

It's probably bad geometry.

It is a 2025 file. The problem is the sp plugin won't load. The files are there in the plugin manager, unless I'm missing one. They just won't load.
