Bezier Curve Tool Handle Snapping broken since Maya 2016

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know a workaround to this issue? Since Maya 2016 bezier tool handle snapping has been broken, you used to be able to vertex snap bezier tool handles to each other to quickly line things up similar to how you would axis constrain vertex snap regular polygons or nurbs cv....

but since Maya 2016 this has been broken with Open GL core / Open GL compatibility. Tool handle snapping only works with direct X or Open GL legacy viewports........

Is there a fix for this? Is anyone else experiencing this? Thanks..

Hi!

You are right, the Points of a Curve Tool Handle will not be used for Vertex Snapping in Viewport 2.0 by default (Maya 2018 update 1), but there is an easy workaround:

In bezierShape -> Component Display -> Disp CV ("enable"), then it works.

Please report this problem (bug?) to Autodesk.
