I don't get it. I keep seeing video's of people being able to type in the value they want, and when I try to do the same, it changes the value. If I need to change the value on my Y translate from .637, the moment I type it into the offset box, it turn to .681. Or some other value NOT .637. What am I missing? Am I in some wrong mode, did I not download the right something or another? And as soon as I attempted to "fumble" my way into fixing my models hand, correcting a second translate erased the first. No tutorial I've come across explains how to fix any of these issues, and none of them seem to have come across this problem. I'm just trying to get a workable base body for my demo. I just want to have as clean a setup as possible for when I need to start animating.

So I sat down with the program and actually tried a few tests. I don't know if it's a glitch, or possibly just the program interacting with my setup, but I was able to get it to work with settings. If you run into the offset parent matrix not responding properly to inputs, check your settings and make sure your Preference settings are set to Centimeter. After the switch, everything began accepting the correct inputs finally. If push comes to shove, try that. Good luck out there.
