Object breaks when animating with rig. (HELP)

Hello, so I'm really new using Maya (2019) and this is my first time animating there.

I was following this tutorial to animate a snake: Youtube Tutorial

I'm doing a worm tho but the mechanics of its movements are pretty much the same. Anyway, everything is okay and working so far until I have to animate, so around minute 12:19 in the video.

In the video, on frame 1 he selects offset and clicks on key selected on it. I do the same, I even put the exact same, values, it's alright so far and the keyframe is created, all normal. Then he moves to frame 24, where he changes the offset value and click key selected on it as he did in frame 1. I do the same, but unlike him when I create a new keyframe so that it moves all goes to ****.

I changed the value of the offset (to the exact same value) as he did and then clicked the key select option to create the new keyframe and make my worm move, but as soon as the keyframe is created my object completely breaks, both at the 24th frame and in various previous frames, if not all of them.

Idk what I'm doing wrong at all. Idk if it's my model, if I did smth wrong with the rigging or what... I already remade everything, even the model in case that was the problem, but it just keeps happening. I truly have no idea of what to do to fix it or what I'm doing wrong; if someone could help me I would be forever grateful. I'll leave the link to the video I uploaded to Reddit (asking for help as well) so you can see how and when it breaks: Video Link

PS: Idk if it would affect in any way, but I initially did the modeling of the worm in another document (Maya too) because I had to do some other modeling and didn't think of doing them in different docs since they were for the same class but at the end decided to work them separately.
