I'm a developer and our company is thinking about moving over to creating virtual training environments. A couple years back I had done this for another division in Unity3D and Maya. However now I am seeing a lot around Revit which I'm not familiar with. So this was what my question was regarding. For my use case, would you all recommend sticking with Maya for the creation of 3D environments for the eventual importing into Unity or should I look into Revit? Any info or insight would be helpful. I am always thinking about performance and this is still the case here. Are there benefits of using one over the other? (in-app optimizations and such) Of Course there is talk around the metaverse, but I think in the end it really won't matter if this is web3 supported or not as they are really just wanting to virtualize their training rather than doing it in-person and all the costs that come associated with that. Love to hear your thoughts and thanks for your time!
