Maya not starting past the splash screen

Hello,

I have been experiencing this same issue from the free education version to now the paid subscription one. Posted on forums, emailed, and now trying to get a call but more issues pop up and I can never get this resolved. Currently trying to schedule a call to get real-time help just brings me to an error message (see attached maintenance error.jpg)

Pretty much it opens to a splash screen then closes that and nothing opens or starts (see attached Maya Load Screen.jpg and the 2nd one). I have seen other people with this issue post on forums and tried those solutions to no avail. Same with stuff posted from autodesk troubleshoot pages. Here is what I have tried:

- Different versions from 2017 - 2020 and 2020 Maya LT

- Uninstall and reinstalling

- Clean uninstall, deleting folders from Program Files, Program Data, User, Documents, REGEDIT including everything from autodesk

- Redownloading Maya 2020 LT and Autodesk App with Bitdefender & Windows Defender (anti virus) completely turned off

- Making exceptions into BitDefender (Anti Virus) from Autodesk Troubleshoot page recommendation

- Going into task manager->details-> services and ensure Flex Net Licensing is set to automatic

- ensuring licensing isn't the issue (confirmed now with paid Maya LT)

- Update everything through Autodesk App

- Resetting preferences to default and adding "old" to a file

Not sure if I listed everything I tried, but that's stuff I have done so far. Really want to practice, make and learn new things, and be confident in joining the animation industry... but this is a huge set back... PLEASE HELP!

FYI been having this issue since mid 2019 for the free education and Maya 2020 LT was purchased May 13, 2020.

Update: Maya LT 2020 is now miraculously working. Had just been waiting for replies either from the forum, email, or phone and decided to try opening it like 5 days after purchase and it opened. No idea what fixed it, my friend says it may have needed some time to pend the purchase to validate it and its license so that's what I'm going off of.

To retrace my steps, I clean uninstall every Autodesk related program.

1. Deleted all existing Autodesk folders from Program Files, Program Data, Documents, Desktop, AppData, REGEDIT, and Common Files for both Local C and F drive (I have an SSD and HDD).

2. Uninstalled and reinstalled all visual C++

3. Purchased and installed Maya LT 2020

4. Updated Maya LT 2020 from Autodesk App

5. Waited a few days and tried opening

Hope this helps anyone avoid this nightmare

You do not deserve this. Considering all of the stuff you tried, and how patient you have been; Autodesk should give you a refund and a subscription for a year. They are lucky to have you.
