Maya LT 2016 title bar and splash screen versions

Hi,

I Installed Maya LT 2016 today. All seems to be in working order, but somehow the titlebar and parts of the splash screen are still saying 'Maya LT 2015'. (I removed a previous 2015LT installation before installing 2016LT).

If  I open up the about screen, it states version 2016.

(Regarding the splash screen; it's the small black text in the lower left corner which is saying 2015)

Although the application seems to be running fine, I'm kind of wondering if something went wrong during installation.

Hi,

Did you use the workaround described for the Maya LT 2015 SP3 performance problem described in this post:

If so, please try removing the environment variable MAYA_DEMO_VERSION that was added for that. 

The workaround should not be required for Maya LT 2016. 

Please let us know if that resolves your problem.

Your solution solved my problem.

Once I removed the environment variable, all the correct version numbers where shown!
