I'm new to Maya LT so please forgive me for this noobie question. I'm following the Autodesk advanced character modeling tutorial series on YouTube and I've encountered an issue. Every time I click my left mouse button a marking menu appears that prohibits me from manipulating the mesh. The only way I can manipulate the mesh is if I use my middle mouse button. I'm not sure how to disable this. Attached is a screenshot. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
If anyone is still having this issue now, I'm working in Maya 2020 and this happened for me. I long clicked E and it reverted to the normal settings for me. Hope this helps.
This happens because your "Make Live" option is on in Maya 2020. Even I was confused with the "left click bringing options" issue. After doing Ctrl+Z several times, it said "Make Live Disabled". Then everything was normal.
I also have the same problem with the left click marking menu. I was trying to select and drag my model by clicking left click on my mouse along the arrows. But it doesn't work as I thought it would be on my end. But whenever I use the middle mouse button it functions just like how a left click does. Please help me to resolve this soon. Thank you
