How can I put my attribute editor back?

At some point I pulled my attribute editor out like in the image below. I'd like to get it back on the side, alternating with Ctrl+a like I am used to, but dragging it over there just puts it beside the channel box. I tried resetting my settings in preferences but that didn't help. Any idea where I am supposed to drag it?

Hi @Mechlai,

You'll want to carefully drag the attribute window to the right side of your Maya window. At that point the sidebar with outline in blue, showing you where the window will be planted. I've attached a picture of what this will look like. Make sure to keep holding down LMB until you're satisfied with where it will end up!

Hi @Mechlai,

Just wanted to double check that this is working for you! Hope all is well!

I still haven't been able to figure it out.

I've attached a picture of what happens when I do that. I don't want it to be beside my channel box. I want it to alternate with it when I hit ctrl + a

hi @Mechlai,

There's a few options that are all rather close together, so you must be careful as to exactly where the blue outline is displaying. In the example screenshot I provided, note the thicker blue bar below the channel box tab. This indicates that the attribute editor window will be put into that same window, in a different tab.

I hope this helps!

I’m facing  the same issue. How can I return it?

Have the same issue and it's no blue lines for me.
