2018 + macOS: "OpenSubdiv Catmull-Clark Adaptive" smooth mesh is transparent

Hi,

I ran into this issue recently: when a smooth mesh is set to use "OpenSubdiv Catmull-Clark Adaptive" instead of the "OpenSubdiv Catmull-Clark", the smooth mesh is not displayed, not even the wireframe.

See the link for details, I am really not sure this is a bug or by design.

My OS is macOS 10.13.2 (on a Macbook Pro 2015), and I am using Maya LT 2018. Let me know if you are able to reproduce this issue.

Hi @Anonymous

I believe you are right and that it is a bug. The issue occurs in 2018 and 2017 LT however won't occur in standard Maya 2017 or 2018.

Also, if you change from Adaptive to the default Catmull-Clark you should be able to continue working normally!

That said I went ahead and logged this with our dev team so they can work on a fix!

Please let me know if there's anything else you need help with!
