It would be nice if the Recent Files list would be updated right after the file it is loaded and not when Maya shuts down correctly.
This in terms of logic makes more sense giving to the list the meaning of :
"Recent Opened Files"
and NOT
"Recent Opened Files where Maya did not crash before the next File Open/ Exit"
It is very frustrating to debug problematic scenes (that make Maya crash) and have to browse again and again the file because it was not saved in the list.
(just as clarification I am talking of the case where the file it is not corrupted and loads successfully, the crash occurs with subsequent operations)
