more real-world scene scale presets

When you build things to real world scale, it's quite normal to build things that are bigger than 1 square meter, even maybe 500 square meters. Currently almost every default preset is tiny. Be this a polygon primitive, a camera, a locator, a joint etc etc. The default viewport grid is about 10cm square or something like that.  It would be good if all the default presets were bigger so that they match the scale of most builds.

I think this entirely depends on the kind of work you do. If you work mostly in product visualization the defaults are fine, and in many cases (such as camera clipping plane values), much too large.

Yes, in some cases it is fine. But the trend to be more physically accurate is something that should be continued in my opinion. Whether this is for general modelling, muscle simulations, cloth, lighting and rendering, you name it. Whole worlds are being created for video games, human characters are often about 1.75m tall, in movies huge cities are being constructed. Having bigger presets only makes things better. Even for product visualisation, having a bigger scene scale presets is fine if you are making something like a teacup or even something bigger like a chair.
