Can we please see what objects are instances in the outliner? Theres currently no way afaik to see this just by looking at the outliner. As usual see how Softimage did it. A small "i" in a different color e.g. would help a lot.
Can I bump this idea?? Just recently spent another hour trying to figure out why the standins I was exporting were behaving in a funny way, turned out AGAIN to be instanced geo. Completely intransparent, how difficult can it be??
