Xgen dynamic link not working

Hi there!

I am having a lot of trouble working with xgen on a production pipeline.

I dont need simulation, some of the descriptions are using curves deformed by a warp deformer.

First, I converted those description guides to hair, deleted the hair system, setup the deformer, and then linked the curves back to it.

Here is the first problem, there are 8 rigged descriptions and lots of scenes and takes, manually caching it to alembic was taking a lot of time, time that we dont have right now.

So I've tried another approach, converting the guides to hair, but instead of linking it back, I used the convert curves to guides utility with keep dynamic link.

It works for the first description that I do this, but when I do this to the second description it no longer works, the guides wont follow the original curves, I think its a bug.

There is also the problem that curves that are not animated, but just following the scalp, will some time render incorrectly and distorted, even though it displays correctly in the viewport.

Any help will be appreciated, as I am really getting desperate.

Thanks a lot.

BTW!

I was making a script that would cache and link the alembic files, only to find out that I can`t edit that xgen attribute or even attach an expression...
