why is Maya filling scene files with unnecessary plugins

When I open a scene file I created in 2020.2, I get all the unnecessary errors for plugins I don't even have on my system.

I can edit the .ma file and delete this lines but why does Maya bother with including these in the first place. What is the cause and how do I stop it.

Here is an example of the error and there are at least 45 of them all different:

# Error: file: C:/Users/wreli/AppData/Local/Temp/wreli.20200603.1746.ma line 24: RuntimeError: file <maya console> line 1: Plug-in, "realflow", was not found on MAYA_PLUG_IN_PATH. #

I don't and never had realflow on my system.

Here is what I edit out of the .ma file:

Also, I get this error as well:

# Error: You are attempting to load a file that contains legacy render layers into a scene that uses render setup. This combination is unsupported and may result in unexpected behavior. #

What gives?

If not really used in scene, safe to ignore.

These unused plugins come because at some point the user imported a scene that was using those plugins.

Just make a shelf button out of this script and remember to check the scene from time to time and specially when is completed so that the library is clean.

string $unknownNodes[] = `ls -type "unknown"`;

for($node in $unknownNodes) {
print( "Deleting " + $node + "\n" );
lockNode -lock 0 $node;
delete $node;
}

string $plugin;
string $unknownPlugins[] = `unknownPlugin -query -list`;
for ($plugin in $unknownPlugins)
{
unknownPlugin -remove $plugin;
}
