white window on start up

I get this window everytime I try to open Maya, I just finished installing it, what could be the problem?

my gpu is GTX 970 , 16 GB RAM , i7 CPU.

Thanks for posting. I have seen this error with other products during launch. It's usually a sign of a bad installation but here are some steps to try:

1. Perform a clean uninstall (see Perform a Clean Uninstall).
2. Run Microsoft FixIt to remove leftover components (see Fix Problems that Block Programs from Being Installed).
3. Empty the Temp folder (see How to delete temporary files in Windows).
4. Restart the computer.
5. Install Maya again.
