When Maya decides it's gonna exit, can I just log back in instead?

If I have a Maya session open for a long-ish time, a popup dialog will appear stating "Autodesk Maya is about to exit. Save your work before you close?.... etc"

Presumably this is related to licensing, and it's signing me out. Is there a way to just re-log in rather than have to quit Maya, re-launch it, and re-load the scene file. That seems necessarily cumbersome...

Thanks,

Mark

Nothing?

Why does this even happen? I'm in the middle of working in Maya, and it just decides it's going to close. WTH? If it needs me to log back in, why not just have me do that?

Seriously, people.

Same. I'm using an educational licensed Maya and it just did it for the first time.  I have lots of time left on the license.

 Why?

Why can't this have a "No, actually I'm still working. Don't close Maya" button?
