What's the deal with Autodesk subscription...

Some of the guys in our studio are using Maya 2014, and some of us are using 2015.

Can the guys on 2014 UPDATE to 2015?

Probably yes. But just because they can, does not mean that they want to!

Provided that the licenses in question are under either maintenance or desktop subscription (and it is current) they can indeed upgrade to 2015.

Hello all,

The deadline for purchasing upgrades has passed but if you contact a reseller very soon you may still be able to get an order in. After that you will need to purchase a completely new license.

Please see our FAQ on Software Upgrades. Thank you!

Thanks everyone

I'm a big fan of the new move tool (more like Max). Worth the upgrade! ; )
