Vertex colour preservation in mash distribution

Hi,

I'm distributing am object over another mesh using mash.

It's for technical art in a game and it's important that the vexed colours of the distributed object are preserved. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be happening. It looks like the distributed instances have no vertex colour data. 

 

Am I missing something, or is there some way to fix this?

Hi @coeuscreative 

toggle display color attribute should help

it toggles between the material color and the vertex color in the viewport

Thanks for your reply. That wasn't the problem. 
It's not that the vertex colours weren't being displayed, it's that they weren't being copied in the repo mesh. 

It seems to work if you switch geometry type to instancer.
