Using Maya 7 with MacBook Pro 2015

I own a perpetual license for Maya 7 and 3D Studio Max9. I realize that they are both older versions but they suit my learning needs without having to pay for a subscription. Both programs work fine on my Windows 10 computer but I purchased a 2015 MacBook Pro and when I tried to install Maya 7 I got a message in one step of the install that the computer was too new. Is there a way that I can still use these programs on my MacBook Pro?

Hi @Anonymous and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately no there isn't away around this natively with your OS.

The only way around this would be to use a virtual machine and/or have a second OS installed so you could boot to Windows as well as your Mac OS and use the Windows OS to work with Maya 7. Even then there's no guarantee that there won't be any issues since we no longer officially support Maya 7.
