I'm getting an error and a warning after using that custom pop-up thingy where you select your custom profile. I have a video here where I first delete my preferences 😉 after that I create a curve and a profile and then use that pop-up thingy. It happens on both my intel iMac Pro and my M1 Max macbook pro. After clicking "OK" Maya gives this error with everything you click, even after deleting the sweep mesh and deleting everything in the scene that has something to do with sweep mesh.. See video for example.

// Error: RuntimeError: file /Applications/Autodesk/maya2024/plug-ins/sweep/scripts/sowsSelectionBox.py line 94: Internal C++ object (SOWSSelectionBox) already deleted.

Apple M1 Max

64GB

MacOS 13.6.6

// Warning: Python callback failed

you don't need the circle curve to make a cable, just one curve.

Yes I know that, but that is of course not my point.. I just showed this simple example in a clean scene file to show the bug Maya throws.. It happens with everything you use the custom pop-up window for. So also with complex profiles. This needs to get fixed asap.

This is a known issue. We also have an issue where if one cancels out of the custom sweep dialogue box then Maya would crash. The warnings/errors albeit annoying, seem benign. Hopefully we will get a fix for it soon.
