Send to mudbox isn't there!!!

Hey,

I have a problem. I have maya 2015 student version and mudbox 2014 full. I can't send from mudbox to maya or vice versa. The button isn't there. Is it because of the year diference or because of the student version? Can someone help? Thank you 🙂

it needs to be Maya 2015 and Mudbox 2015 for that to work

or Maya 2014 & Mudbox 2014

Are you sure? Is that a guess or are you sure? Just making sure before I deinstall mudbox 🙂

If you want to use the SendTo feature(s) then yes, both pieces of s/ware must be the same release. But, as the SendTo actually uses an (automated) FBX file transfer you can just save it out of Maya as an FBX (use the FBX 2014 option) then manually import it to Mudbox.

Thank you I will try that but I really miss the send to option because it does so much for the workflow. But I will try to import it manually 🙂
