repeat last tool not working with custom tool hotkeys

I have created hotkeys for several of my most used tools and when I use them I would like to be able to hit the "G" key to repeat them. an example of what I would like to do. I select an edge and hit ctrl-B to bevel the edge. I press w to go back to selection and select another edge. I press G to repeat the bevel action and nothing happens. I have check marked the box next to the hotkey box to make command repeatable and add to recent command list and it doesnt seem to work either

G works when you select Bevel from any menu.

Do it once, then just gggggggggg.....

if anyone has any issue with this, I was using maya 2019 and I upgraded to maya 2022. The problem no longer seems to be an issue in the newest release.

...which is unrelated, as I am using M2019 too, and have no such problem.

It is possibly your settings got corrupted.

Same problem here.. i m missing Y for Last Tool Used.. not working! I use latest version 2022
