"xgen: Could not initialize the Patch renderer" error

I tried creating an xgen description on a simple plane as an example and when I went to render with arnold, it said "xgen: Could not initialize the Patch renderer" I tried applying aistandardhair to it and it still threw the same error

Hola, me salia este mismo error y no me dejava renderizar el pelo, intente hacer lo que tu dices en el post luego quite el programa y volvi ha abrir el archivo y tampoco pude ver el pelo de normal...ahora no lo veo ni en el render ni de normal, que hago? Gracias

how can i get original name back? Or do i need to do it from the new ones.
