Parent Constrain multiple children, (upwards of 70) to an object in one step.

Hello, I would like to Parent Constrain (maintaining the offset ) multiple children objects (upwards of 70) to an a chosen parent in one step.

Because of workflow restrictions, I'm not able to solve this by first grouping the child assets into one group.

so therefore the child objects can't be grouped before I Parent Constrain them.

Currently I can't see a way to do this task in one step?

The only options I currently see is to Parent Contain each child object to the chosen parent which would have me repeating that function 70 times.

Thank you for your thoughts.

try this:

string $sel[];
string $obj;
$sel = `ls -selection`;
for ( $obj in $sel ) {
if ($obj != $sel[0])
{
parentConstraint -mo -weight 1 $sel[0] $obj;
}
};
