Opening .mb scenes from windows to mac gives mesh distortion

Hey, I'm using Maya 2018. I have 2PCs (windows 10) and 1 MacBook Pro 15-inch 2017 (Mojave 10.14.6). PCs are my primary machines and they work as it should, but every time when I'm trying to open my scenes on a mac I'm getting this mesh distortion on basically every single scene. On all machines, I'm using the same version of Maya and I don't understand why there is such a problem. Mac is super good when I'm travelling somewhere, but currently I there is no possibility for me to work with with a mac using the same files I was working on windows. Any solutions?

Hi!

Is there history on the object?

Delete history and try again.

Thank you! Deleting history solved my problem. But I'm wondering, why transferring history from one operating system to another gives this result even when the same Maya version is used? Since it was nothing fancy (some extrusions and bevels)?

Hi!

For me it looks as if the vertex amount or order has changed, maybe a minor difference in the calculation of any node led to this result.

(Calculations on different systems can lead to different results)
