first of all don´t worry about the aperture. it´s the same after import but mayas channel box displays it in inch and nuke in mm. open the cameras attribute editor and you´ll see it´s fine.
for the sliding: how is the image sequence named? check the image plane settings. could be just a frame offset issue.
Thanks for letting me know about the rules. I am fairly new to forums. Didn't know which forum to post so I did in a few.
The Image Sequence is named 'filename.####.fileExtension'
I attached a pic of the Image Plane Attributes. Typing a value in the 'Frame Offset' field doesn't seem to change anything. It still slides.
I am not sure what else to check in the settings.
Thanks for responding. Your the only one so far.

Well by fiddling around and a stroke of luck I got it to work! It did look like a frame offset issue as the box just seems to lag
behind a few frames from the video motion. Changing the frame offset in the Image Plane settings didn't have any
different result. I rendered out a Maya image sequence of the just the polygon box and composited
it on top of the video image sequence in After Effects. Rendering out the Image Plane with the polygon box in Maya gave the
strange result I was getting. Still not sure what the reason was; probably still some offset issue; but it works now(below) Thanks for your help!
