Models invisible in perspective view

Hello, I am a new user to Maya an my models are gone in my perspective view but they are still there in my ortho views I think that I pressed "2" and they disappeared could someone please help me.

Hi @Anonymous 

 

Thanks for posting! 🙂 Are you experiencing this behavior in all your scenes or just in a specific project?

 

Some basic things to start with:

 

  1. select your object in another view (so it is highlighted), and then with your cursor over the perspective view (object still selected) press the f key to "frame" that object within the viewport.
  2. also, pressing the 6 key will activate shaded mode.

i would also recommend checking that your graphics card drivers are up to date - viewport performance relies on that.

Hi!

Try in Viewport menu:

1. View -> Default View

2. Show -> All

3. Show -> Isolate Select -> View selected (should be not  checked)
