Model causing problem with Optix (Optix error is: Unknown error)

Hi

I've been learning Maya as part of an animation course I'm taking, and for some odd reason whenever I attempt to render a scene in Arnold I am greeted with a "render aborted" notification and this error:

an error happened during rendering. OptiX error is: Unknown error (Details: Function "_rtContextLaunch2D" caught exception: Encountered a CUDA error: cudaDriver().CuEventSynchronize( m_event ) returned (700): Illegal address, file: <internal>, line: 0)

It seems like I've managed to narrow it down to one model in the scene - the character model - and I was wondering if anyone might have any suggestions as to what might be causing this. I've tried updating drivers, but that wouldn't make a difference. If needed, I can send the scene file too.

The animation is due by mid december so any help would be appreciated 🙂
