Mesh frame showing in blue outline

Help, please! I applied a painted texture to my character and now he has a blue mesh frame. How can I remove this frame?

Many thanks!

You might have selected this button by accident...is the Show wireframe on mesh icon,...hope it fixes.

Thanks Goose! It worked perfectly. As you can tell, I'm a newbie. It's the smallest things that can trip you up.

Cheers!

It took me hours to solve this, but I wanted to document all the reasons for the "blue lines".

Here are the solutions:
1) Shading -> Wireframe on Shaded
2) Mesh Display -> Soften Edge (hard edges sometimes appear blue)
3) Right click -> Object Mode (blue lines in other edit modes)
4) Something in Display -> Polygons
5) Attribute Editor -> Mesh Component Display -> Display .. (several)
6) Attribute Editor -> Smooth Mesh -> Smooth Mesh Preview --- finally! my issue
