Maya Plugin Folder windows

I am confused with my home setup.  I dont seem to have a plug-in folder here:

C:\Users\Matt\Documents\maya\<version>

I have versions going back from the current PR release to 2017 but none of these contain a plug-in folder.

There are plugin folders in the install directory, but Maya documentation states that you should not put any there??

Hi @matto.schmidt  🤍

perhaps the plug-in folder has been created by a plug-in that you installed before, I don't think Maya create

plug-in folder in the mentioned path  instead it create scripts folder that we can put small plug-ins in it or custom scripts

So it seems that I do need to create a plug-ins folder there.  I did that and it worked, but you would think that the Maya install would create that folder as it also creates the scripts folder.
