Maya not working

Hello, I'm having issues using Maya. I was previously using Maya 2019 and it worked fine. I decided today I wanted to update to Maya 2020 and the Autodesk app said 2020 was already installed, but it wasn't. I uninstalled Autodesk and tried reinstalling it, but it didn't work. I got Autodesk to work by downloading Maya 2020, but when I try to launch Maya it doesn't work. It asks me if I'm a single or multi user, then when I click anything, it just closes.

I really need Maya for Uni and I use it everyday. I have a student account and I started the trial in February. Can I please have assistance in accessing Maya?

Can you please try to install the latest update of Maya (Maya 2020.1) and see if it works? Which OS are you working on, MAC or Windows?

I had to factory reset my PC over the weekend due to an issue with it, which may have had to do with the Maya problem, and now Maya works perfectly. 

I'm on Windows 10 Home and my Maya wasn't updated, but now I'm using the updated version and I've had no problems with it

thanks for coming back! Perfect that Maya works again 😀 ... I guess, re-installing Maya after the factory reset of the computer did the trick.
